2012 Membership Subscriptions

This year the Committee decided that we would run a membership  ticket collection on 26th February and 3rd March, held at Galloway Angling Centre, between the hours of 10.00am and 3.00 pm.

It must be stressed that these are not the only dates  that members can obtain their tickets!!!

Tickets after this date can be collected from our Membership Secretary Mr. Steve Smith, Villa Cree Guest House, Minnigaff, Newton Stewart, DG8 6NR.

As this is a Guest House, we would ask that tickets only be collected between the hours of 10.30 am and 5.30 pm. Monday to Saturday.

We are planning a third collection day on the last Saturday in April, the 30th, prior to the Full Adult ticket increase to £150.00!

The costs to the club of stocking with trout has risen dramatically, due to increased fuel costs both for transportation of stock and feed to the fish farm.

In order for us to procure these fish the club needs “front loading” and can therefore forecast a proper stocking policy, hence the need for members to obtain their tickets at the start of the season, rather than later in the year.

The Committee  appreciates and thanks you in advance for your co-operation in this matter, and look forward to seeing you on the dates suggested.

The second reason for this collection is to enable us to update our data base. We would request you bring your e-mail address, date of birth and contact telephone number along with you. This will make it easier and less costly for the club to contact you and update you of progress in many aspects of what is happening within the club and the hatchery.
